How do you feel when you look back at your old childhood photos? I bet that, like me, you pay as much attention to what's in the background as you do the people in the images. When we grow up and move on, our memories of places we have inhabited and the 'things' that surrounded us endure in these images. It can be something as simple as the texture of a stone lamp on a windowsill that has long been consigned to the tip, or the pattern of the wallpaper that you spent ages tracing with your finger. These can be as evocative as the smell of freshly cut grass.
My home sessions are designed to capture you and your family where you feel most relaxed, preserving the memories of you at this place, in this time. I'll work with you to scout out the rooms with the best light, and we'll get some wonderful, joy-filled images which you will want to print, frame and treasure forever.
At Home Sessions are great for:
- Families with children under two
- Families with mobility issues or older relatives
- Times of year where it's colder outside
- Families with teenagers who can be difficult to convince to come anywhere with you!

With a focus on authenticity and connection, I bring a bespoke photography experience to the heart of your home.
During our 2-3 hour session, we capture the genuine laughter, shared stories, and the unique dynamics that make your family special. No forced poses—just the beauty of your family as they are, in the comfort of your own space.
Includes:
Up to three hours shooting at your home with travel up to 25 miles from Oxford.
Online viewing gallery of 100-150 images.
10 digital high resolution images chosen by you, with a full print release and the opportunity to purchase more or choose from a range of prints and products.

FAQ
My house isn't very beautiful/I am in a rental and the decor isn't really to my taste. Does that matter?
Not at all. There are loads of creative ways in which I can use the light and space in your home and I can work with you to find the best little corners for beautiful images.
Can we include my pets in our session?
Of course - they are part of your family! However if you have a dog/s I do recommend that someone is on hand for part of the session to look after them if they need it, so I'm free to shoot alternative images for your gallery.
What if someone is ill and we have to postpone?
As a parent, I know all too well that sometimes even the best laid plans are at the mercy of seasonal sniffles! Every session is allowed one free reschedule in case of illness.
