Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Sessions must be scheduled at least 6 weeks in advance and are based on the availability of the Photographer.
Your gift voucher must be kept in a safe place and the code on the voucher quoted by email or telephone to verify that you are the gift voucher holder.
The photography session is to be held at a time and location agreed to by the photographer. The location shall be discussed and agreed upon between the parties and must be within 15 miles of OX1 5AZ, otherwise reasonable travel charges may apply.
Gift vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue and the session must be booked for a date within this 12 month period.
Gift vouchers can only be used at Hannah Veale Photography for photographic services and/or products as described on the voucher, no substitutes or alternatives are allowed.
Gift vouchers can only be used once and you may not exchange your gift voucher for cash or other services.
The Photographer is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers and replacement is at the sole discretion of Hannah Veale Photography. Refunds will not be given for a gift voucher.
Gift vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other vouchers or offers and are non-transferable. You may not sell your gift voucher and it may not be used in sales or promotional activities including giveaways, or prizes in competitions without our prior consent. The Photographer reserves the right to cancel any gift voucher that we suspect has been resold or obtained in connection with an unauthorised sales or promotional activity.
10. Rescheduling
10.1. In the event of session postponement due to illness, the Photographer will reschedule the session, if 48 hours notice is given. The Client is allowed one event of rescheduling. If no reasonable notice is given, or the Client does not show up at their session, the Client forfeits the gift voucher and a standard session booking fee will be required to reschedule at the discretion of the Photographer. Please do not reschedule for minor skin injuries.
10.2 If the session is postponed by the Client, the Photographer will, subject to their availability perform their contractual duties on a revised Session date (specified by the photographer) and amend the Schedule for the Delivery of Products accordingly. The monies due will be subject to revision if the location(s) changes or if the revised date is in the following calendar year, in which case the fee will be based on the current applicable rates and the Client will need to pay the difference between the new applicable rate and their gift voucher amount.
11. Archiving and Requests for Additional Copies
11.1. The Photographer will maintain backup copies of the edited images in their archive for a period of 4 years during which time the Client may request these images as a digital download.
11.2. Any requests for additional copies of the files as a digital download are subject to a £20.00 administration fee.
12. Insurance
12.1. The Photographer maintains insurance against Public Liability and Professional Negligence.
12.1.1 The Client may request that the Photographer supplies them with summary details of such insurance, including confirmation that the policies are in force.
12.2 The Studio contains technical photographic equipment including wires, heavy equipment, light stands and backdrops. While every attempt has been made to ensure the environment is safe, The Client uses the Studio at their own risk and is responsible for any children in the Studio at all times.
13. Disclaimer
13.1 If the Photographer is unable to perform due to reasons beyond their contract including but not limited to an Act of God, fire, strike, or theft, the Photographer’s liability will be limited to the offer of a rescheduled session.
13.2. The Photographer agrees that every effort will be made to provide high quality photographic services, and takes reasonable steps to mitigate against mechanical and technical failures including, but not limited to, carrying additional equipment (cameras, lenses, batteries, memory cards), using high quality equipment and maintaining this equipment to the highest standards. However, in the unlikely event that a catastrophic mechanical failure should occur to the Photographer's equipment or that the Photographer is unable to provide the client with the agreed photography services and/or products on the agreed session date, the Photographer and the Client agree that the Photographer is not responsible for any consequential damages, emotional or otherwise and that the Photographer's liability shall be limited to the offer of a rescheduled session.
14. Termination
14.1. If the Photographer has to cancel the contract for reasons beyond their control, including but not limited to injury, sickness or death, they will use their best endeavours to arrange an alternative shooting date that suits both parties.
15.Reshoot
15.1 The Photographer does not offer free or discounted sessions for a re-shoot on the basis of the Client's regret over wardrobe choice, location choice, etc.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the Laws of England and Wales. I confirm that I have read and understood these terms and conditions.
